Main Tax Return

The core Self Assessment form. Every other supplementary page (like SA103) attaches to this one — it's what actually gets submitted to HMRC as the overall return.

What it's for

Captures your personal details, declares which supplementary schedules are included (e.g. self-employment), records State Pension and other taxable state benefits, and carries the final declaration you're signing off on.

Who uses it

Everyone filing a Self Assessment return, regardless of income type.

What we ask you for

  • Name, UTR, and NINO
  • Which schedules apply (we set this automatically based on your answers)
  • State Pension and other taxable state benefits, if any
  • Your final declaration before submission

Limits & things to know

ClearYear currently supports the self-employment schedule only — property income, capital gains, and employment (PAYE) income sections of the SA100 are not collected or submitted through this service.
