How long does it take to file my return? +
Most returns take 10–20 minutes to complete. Once you submit, HMRC typically processes within 72 hours.
Is ClearYear authorised by HMRC? +
Yes. ClearYear is built on HMRC's Making Tax Digital (MTD) API and is fully authorised to submit Self Assessment returns on your behalf.
What if I need a refund? +
If your return hasn't been submitted to HMRC yet, you can request a full refund within 24 hours of payment. Email us at support@clearyear.co.uk.
Is my data safe? +
Your financial data (income, expenses, NINO) is never stored in our database. It exists only during your session and is submitted directly to HMRC. We are fully GDPR compliant.
